The safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve. En route, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take in breathtaking panoramic views and capture memorable photos.
Arrive, check in and have lunch at Enkorok Mara Camp, then head out for your first afternoon game drive across the vast savannah, where you will encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions as the day cools.
Start your day with an early breakfast, embark on a full-day safari in the Masai Mara with packed lunchboxes. Explorethevastsavannahplains,riverineforests,androllinghillsinsearch oftheBigFiveandotherwildlife.
At lunch time set out for a picnic at one of the scenic points within the park. After breakfast, depart from Karatu town to a half day game drive in either Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch depending on your preference.
Tarangire National Park is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees and diverse wildlife, while Lake Manyara National Paek offers lush groundwater forests, flamingos and the chance to spot tree climbing lions.
